About DCET
DCET is Diploma Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for candidates seeking admission in 1st year undergraduate architecture programmes or 2nd year engineering programmes under the lateral entry scheme. Candidates need to complete their diploma in either engineering or architecture to take part in DCET.
- Get lateral entry to top evening and day colleges all across Karnataka.
- DCET is conducted only once a year.
- DCET will be an offline exam with a duration of 180mins.
- DCET follows the format of MCQs.
- Candidates who have qualified DCET can take both day and evening colleges.
